I'm honored that you'd stop by. Humbled that you'd read on. Here are my musings on family life with God's Grace as my focus. "Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow has not yet come. We have only today. Let us begin." -Mother Teresa

Weekend Fun
This weekend we were in the "cities" visiting both sides of the family for two birthday get-togethers with lots of eating and visiting! On Saturday night we celebrated my brother-in-law, Dan's birthday, we went with a group of their/our friends out to eat at Chino Latino's down town and then to Comedy Sportz Club afterwards, it was a blast!! On Sunday we celebrated my mother-in-law, Barb's birthday (and Dan's) by getting together at Houlihan's, it was great to see everyone and Sadie had a great time running around with Dan's "big girl" neices!!
The pictures are from when we stopped at Rockets on our way in... Sadie got to hold the cone herself! She felt very proud and took lots of big bites! She dropped her cone a few minutes later - but she was happy again when dad gave her his cone to finish : )

Our Little Tumbler
About three weeks ago Sadie began participating in a preschool gymnastics class. She has a great coach, who teaches the class lots of fun basic gymnastic skills. Some activities include: trampoline, balance beam, stretching, skipping, climbing and so on! Sadie has learned skills that have really improved her large muscle and coordination skills, and best of all, she has a blast every time!!

A Sunny Sunday
Gramma Diane and Grampa Dan (my parents) came for the day today, and it was beautiful outside! We flew a kite, played in the sandbox and on the swingset! We also had a bonfire and made smores! I added a belly shot - I'm 21 weeks pregnant today. It was 70+ degrees and sunny, surrounded by family, it was an all around great day!

Sadie's Best Friend
This is Micah, he is the same age as Sadie and has become a very close friend to Sadie : ) These two are so much fun to watch, they have become very nice playmates : ) In these pictures, Micah sat down on the couch with a book and Sadie followed with a blanket. Next, Micah read to Sadie. Then they posed for a few more pictures : ) It was definately a priceless "Kodak moment" - Lynn (Micah's Mom) captured some great shots!
A sneak peek!
Here SHE is!! This is the first photo of our new baby GIRL - Lauren Faith House. I am 19 weeks pregnant here, and Lauren is due September 1st. It's almost impossible to immagine how our life will change now, but we are thrilled to soon have TWO daughters. It does appear that Lauren has blown a bubble in this picture - Ha! - we were told that this was just a fold in the umbilical cord... we like to think that she was blowing a bubble to show us her amazing talent : ) Haha!
We look forward to much entertainment from our girls in the future!! I thank God everyday for His faithfulness!
Out and About
Easter Fun
Another place to see whats new with us!
With our new baby girl on the way, I decided I would make a new blog to share with family and friends, and show all the new news and up-to-date pictures!
We found out a week ago that we will be welcoming another GIRL into our family! She is due September 1st and we have already chosen the name Lauren Faith!
Sharing this pregnancy journey with Sadie has been so fun! She often tells us that she has a baby in HER tummy! Ha! She also tells us that when the baby grows big enough and comes home, she will be a big helper by bringing the baby toys, bottles, blankets and diapers! We will see about that : )
Sadie is busy learning how to use the potty! Our goal is to have her potty trained by the time Baby Lauren is here : ) Sadie will be 3 in a few months - on June 6th! I can hardly believe how fast the time has gone. I am realizing that these 'baby years' are so precious and really just a blink of time.
John continues to stay busy as a contract employee in the internet/web design/photo/video department at the Mayo Clinic. He is still waiting to hear when they will make him perminent staff and what they will offer him for salary. They told John that they should have an offer for him within the next few months... that was almost two months ago. We are hoping for the best!
I stay home full-time now and I am so thankful to be able to focus all my energy on Sadie and soon, Baby Lauren. What an awesome gift from God they are : ) Being their Mommy is the best job I have ever had : )
