Hmm....hog fat

This is the pork butt (shoulder) for Sadie's Birthday party on Sunday. It was a little over 15lbs. It "only" took 12 1/2 hours to cook so that was nice. I'll pull the pork in about an hour to have ready for pulled pork sandwiches. Then into the foodsaver to be ready for Sunday.

Sadie just told me in her cute little voice, "thanks for cooking my birthday food dad." She also just noticed the big #3 stuffed pinata and was very curious about it.
